Toxic Cargo

This 12-page special section from the Riverside Press-Enterprise in 2006 documents the effects of toxic elements coming through the Inland Empire via the rail freight network. I served as lead designer on this project. This section was awarded the first annual “Sunlight Freedom of Information” award, given by the Associated Press News Executives Council of California and the California First Amendment Coalition.
